I am writing to express my complete satisfaction with my recent holiday to Bali. It was, without doubt, the best value for money holiday i have had. From the initial booking process through to the impressive arrangements with Marintur for drop off at Denpasar Airport on the return journey everyone was most helpful and everything ran very smoothly.

The other Mercury travellers with whom i spoke were equally complimentary about your company and i noted that most were repeat customers. Personally i will be returning to Bali in the future but i have already spied the Mauritius pages in your brochure and i would envisage an early booking with you.

We arrived back yesterday from a far East holiday at the Bali Mirage Hotel in Bali followed by a 2 night stopover in Singapore. I am writing to say how much we enjoyed our holiday and the excellent arrangements made by Mercury Direct. We always find that the staff at your offices are pleasant and very helpful from the first telephone call to enquire about a booking. They seem to have good knowledge of the hotels listed in your brochures and are able to give us useful information about the resort and travel arrangements.

My wife and i have been to the Far East on a number of occasion as my business allowed me many trips to Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Hong Kong, but we never visited Bali. After receiving your brochure earlier this year we decided to combine a visit to the Club Bali Mirage with a stopover in Singapore to revisit old haunts. I was a little apprehensive after reading some reports on the Club Bali Mirage but i trusted the information in the Mercury brochure. We found the hotel staff very friendly and obliging and the standard of the room very good, although it could have done with some redecoration. It was, however, the first hotel we have had clean sheets on the bed every night. The food standard was good and there was always a sufficient selection of dishes to enable us to enjoy every meal. We also felt that the price was very reasonable for the standard and location of the hotel.

We did book private tranfers from Denpasar to the hotel and the arrangements worked very well. The driver was waiting for us and we had no problem in locating him in the arrivals hall. We did book one trip through her to visit the volcano which was a very good trip.

On my previous visits to Singapore i have always stayed at the Marina Mandarin Hotel, so the York Hotel was to be a new experience. The hotel is very conveniently located and offers excellent facilities. The staff here were also very friendly and obliging and we felt that the price was very reasonable for the facilities offered. The room standard was good and the food available in the restaurant was very good.

Our first Mercury Direct holiday was in 2005 when we visited Capetown and the Veranda Hotel in Mauritius. Since then we have sayed twice at the Emerald Bay in Sri Lanka and the Ramada resort also in Sri Lanka. The standard of all these holidays was very good and we will certainly be using your company again for future holidays. We also have no hesitation in recommending your company to our friends, so keep up the good work.

We have returned recently from a holiday booked by Mercury Direct to Bali with a stopover at Hong Kong. We enjoyed every minute of the holiday so its a big thank you to the Mercury team. I would however like to pay a special thank you to the Mercury agent at Bali airport when we were returning home. When we have travelled with other tour operators we have been left at the entrance to an airport, the Mercury rep saw us through the complexities of the airport which was such a great help. Holiday at The Bali Club Mirage & The York Hotel Singapore 13 - 27 April 08 / 27 - 29 April 08. The Bali Club Mirage from the moment we stepped into the reception on arrival we were made most welcome. The Staff were 'happy smiley people' and only too pleased to see that we were happy. Our room was kept nice & clean the food was just great. The location was ideal both for the Airport & for getting to other places on the Island. The Tours were organised through 'Marintur Indonesia' our Rep' Mrs Sri Pariani was excellent; nothing was too much trouble for her. One of our Tour guides was Mr P D Sadjana one of the most knowledgeable and pleasant people we have met. We did the Elephant Safari, Balinese Traditional Farming & Rice Terraces plus The Volcano Tour (unfortunately it was misty when we were there). All these trips out were well worth it.

Our stay in Singapore was very comfortable and pleasant. The Hotel was convenient for all that we required to do in the two and half days there. The flights with 'Singapore Airlines' from Manchester to Bali return were long but very pleasant journeys, the landings were really superb.

Finally, we should like to commend The Bali Club Mirage and Mercury Direct for the wonderful Holiday Sarah and myself have just recently returned from. I would also like to thank all the staff at both locations for a job well done. We are now in the process of rebooking a similar Holiday to Bali in 2009.

We would like to say how much we enjoyed your holiday offer at the Grand Istana Rama in Kuta, the hotel staff were excellent and were made very welcome, the superior rooms were adequate and clean with a change of linen daily. The gardens and pool were a delight to relax in and without exception we were greeted with smiling faces from managers to gardeners and waiting staff. The menus were varied and interesting and beautifully presented and we enjoyed every meal we ate at the hotel.

I write to thank you for the service I have received from your staff, representatives abroad and staff at destination hotels. Starting from the day we made our telephone booking, Gonia attended to our requirements and questions in a polite, friendly and professional manner. Then, following a mishap at the airport on the day of departure which resulted in severe pain and my needing crutches/sticks for the whole holiday period, we were given all help and support possible by all the staff at the Diwangkara Resort and by your overseas representative, Ms Sri Partiani of Martintur in Bali who deserves special thanks for her care. She procured a pair of crutches for the duration of our stay, without which I could not have coped. She arranged medical care and gave first class personal support. These people all helped my wife and I to cope with our misfortune and make the best of our holiday. Diwangkara Resort was really good.

Having returned home from the above holiday, we feel that we must write and inform your company that this is one of the best holidays that we have ever had. From the time of booking the holiday right up to returning home everything was 100%.

We were met at the airport by a young man called Alex from Marintur Tours who was our tour guide for the four day extra tour of the island. This young man was a credit to your company, he was poite, knowledgeable and courteous, he made this tour an experience of a lifetime. We did while at the resort book a further two trips and his company sent him along as the guide. He also gave up his Sunday evening with his family to take us back to the airport on our departure.

The hotel Sanur Beach Resort Hotel where we stayed was also first class in every way, it could not be faulted by anyone. The staff from the management right down to the pool boys were wonderful. This thanks to your company was the greatest holiday we could have ever wished for.

We wish to congratulate you once again for a wonderful holiday in Club Bali Mirage.

From the moment that we arrived in Bali at the airport your representative was waiting for us to take us to our gorgeous hotel. We were greeted by the most kind and caring people of Bali.

Our rooms were very clean and tidy. we had clean sheets and towels in our room every day. From our balcony we had a lovely veiw of the gardens and the sea.

In the bars and in the restaurants we experienced a very warm welcome from all the staff every day. The restaurants had a good variety of food catering for many different cultures. There was also an extra menu wiht more delights if required.

On our return to England once again your representative was with us from the pick up from our lovely hotel and he made sure that with his help we had a relaxing time booking in and finding our way around the airport. The rep even helped us to book in with our passports and flight tickets.

Well done mercury! So to anyone wishing to visit Bali we would definately recommend them to Mercury Direct.
