We spent a holiday at the Ascos Hotel, Coral Bay in Jan/Feb of this year. We were a party of four and really enjoyed our stay there.

I was wary of booking a holiday from a brochure as we always had my friendly travel agent to help me. He's now retired and so i was left with the choice of the net, an unknown travel agent or do it myself from a brochure!

I was lucky to get Kelly to help me. She's so friendly and so helpful! In no time at all she had answered all my questions and booked me the holiday i wanted. I even got the seats i wanted on the plane.

We recently visited Cyprus, staying at Venus Beach Hotel, Paphos. Our flight with British Airways was overbooked, so we arrived a day late on Feb 8th. Your representative, Irene met us the following day, fully aware of the changes, and had made arrangements for us to have lunch at the hotel, in place of dinned we had missed. Because of the flight changes, we were concerned about our return flight, we contacted Irene, who checked and reassured us all was well. My wife and I recently took our first holiday with Mercury Direct and would like to congratulate you on the excellent service that we received from yourselves, your local representative and the hotel staff.

We found your company via the web and requested a brochure, this was received within two days of our enquiry. When I phoned to book your staff were extremely helpful and courteous which made the booking process extremely easy.

All the necessary documents were received promptly without fuss and they were very clear and precise. The holiday itself was wonderful, the Venus Beach Hotel is a very worthy inclusion in your brochure, giving very good value for money.

From the moment we arrived the staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was excellent, with plenty of choice. The rooms were clean and well serviced by the maids. Your local representative Irene was very helpful and arranged car hire for us.

This was the fist holiday we had been able to take in three years and we have never had a holiday at this time of year before. We would certainly go to Cyprus again in the not distant future. We will definitely use Mercury Direct again and have already recommended you to our friends.

This is to confirm my telephone conversation of a few days ago. I was privileged to spend three weeks at the Venus Beach Hotel, Paphos, Cyprus, arranged by your good selves. I want you to know that I had the most enjoyable time of my rather long life so far!! Your arrangements were spot on. The Venus Beach Hotel was simply great. My room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, and the view was superb, over looking the Tomb of the Kings and the Mediterranean. The food was delicious, with plenty of choices for the most fussy palates, and what can I say about the staff? Everyone of them treated me as if I was the Queen, and i'm only a common garden welsh valley girl, a nobody! Needless to say, I fully intend going back to the Venus Beach, hopefully for longer than three weeks in November or December.

What a lovely surprise to find on arrival a taxi from the airport to our hotel, just like the 'good old days' when we arrived in Larnaca and stayed in the Crusader Beach, Limassol - not much choice in those early days, when we waited for your '1 inch column' in Woman's Weekly eager to book another visit. A further welcoming surprise was the large bouquet of flowers awaiting our arrival in our room, along with the usual plate of fresh fruits and dessert wine. All of this contributed to a wonderful start to our holiday, and so my wife and I say a big 'thank you' to yourselves and your team of representatives in Pafos for the services we have experienced over past years.

We hope we will be able to continue our Annual visit to Cyprus for a few more years. We have already been approached by friends eager to travel with us next year and we look forward to receiving your 2009/10 brochure, and wish you well for the future.

Firstly we would like to say what and enjoyable holiday we had at the Constantinos The Great Hotel at Protaras. We would also like to commend the Mercury Rep Yianna who helped us with with our problems due to my wifes disability and having to use a wheelchair. We were not fobbed off with excuses or promises she dealt with things there and then if not as soon as possible and showed nothing but kindness.

Both Yianna and her colleague executed their jobs with kindness and understanding towards me and my family. This made a stressful time for me so much easier.

My mother was staying at the Kapetanios Hotel and delayed in Limassol for over a week due to the volcanic ash disruption. Despo went above and beyond her duty to make sure my mother was okay, visiting every day to update all the guests on the situation. My mother is 76 years old and was holidaying on her own. My husband and I went on holiday with your company to Cyprus on 19-05-10.

While there we met up with a couple and I gave them my email address and they duly sent me an email. However it transpires that the address shown on theirs is wrong and I had no way of getting in touch with them. After trying for a week but with no success I was getting desperate to find a way to get in touch with them as I did not want them to think I was ignoring their emails. I would like to say that we have just returned from a super holiday at the Aloe Hotel, Paphos through Mercury Direct.

The whole process of booking etc was excellent and when the volcano threatened to ruin our holiday you staff in administration were wonderful. They gave reassurance and took command of the situation. Unfortunately our two friends who were travelling out with us were unavoidably delayed (personal reasons) but again your staff booked them at a slightly later date and they joined us for the remainder of the holiday. No fuss, no bother.

I feel I must write and compliment all concerned on the organisation of this holiday starting with the booking staff also the flights with Cyprus Airways and the hotel staff. We would like to make special reference to our travel representative, Marion. Her professionalism could not be faulted. She was always at the hotel on the 3 days of the week at the time stated and nothing was too much trouble , very reliable, helpful and friendly.

Whilst on holiday at the Kapetanios Limassol Hotel, I fell ill and was taken into the St Peters and Paul Hospital. During my stay of over 2 weeks the rep visited me nearly every single day. She helped me to sort things out with my hotel and also with dealing with the hospital and my Insurance.
