Location

Poovar is a small fishing village about 10 miles south of Kovalam. This hotel is reached by a 10-minute boat ride along a river winding through coconut palm groves. It sits overlooking a lagoon, created by the confluence of the river with the sea, with the long sandy beach and the Arabian Sea beyond. In between the hotel and lagoon is an area of palm shaded garden with a swimming pool and a sun deck overlooking the lagoon. The beach beyond is serviced by hotel boat.

Accommodation

Estuary garden view rooms are airy and comfortably furnished in traditional style and air-conditioned with balconies. They have fully equipped en-suite bathrooms and are equipped with cable TV, direct dial telephone, mini-bar and hairdryer (on request). Estuary view rooms are available at supplements.
