Les Cocotiers – a garden hideaway at the heart of a tropical paradise

The hotel's little houses are arranged right on the beachfront, making them feel very exclusive indeed. Heading out in the morning can feel rather like stepping out into your own private beach scene.

Being this close to the beach, you'll have excellent views of the fine white sand and coconut trees, and you'll be able to relish that fresh salt-sea air. The swimming pool is perhaps the heart of Les Cocotiers. As well as a hub of activities in the day, so much of the hotel's amenities and entertainments are concentrated around it too.

Many of the hotel's facilities are presented in their own little individual buildings too, complete with thatched roofs. The sheltered bar and restaurant both face out onto the lagoon. It's a wonderful view and so very conducive for an evening of fine food and a pleasant drink or two.

You may well be drawn to Baie du Tombeau and to Mauritius by the chance to swim, snorkel and spend as much time in and under the water as possible. Les Cocotiers provides snorkelling equipment and diving opportunities – and there is a free shuttle bus service to La Plantation Hotel where you can enjoy even more watersports facilities.
