Karon Bay Information

A beautiful and peaceful beach, Karon is not as commercialised as nearby Patong (Aprox. 4 miles). The beach is scattered with lush palms and Casuarina trees, the resort now gently merges with Kata to the south, the spectacular beach is backed by gentle sand dunes. The main beach area has a paved promenade with streetlights and is perfect for relaxing walks. This resort is ideal for families and couples seeking a slower and more relaxed holiday, although there are still many shops and restaurants, and the bustling resort of Patong is easily reachable.
