Sliema Information
The resort of Sliema, St. Julian's, Paceville together make up the biggest and most varied entertainment centre in Malta. Once a suburb of Valletta, Sliema has developed into a bustling and fashionable resort with many hotels and restaurants, smart shops and places of entertainment. There is good swimming along the flat rocky coast on the open sea side of Sliema. Beyond is the small fishing village of St Julian’s Bay. While retaining its original character it has been surrounded by new development and merged into adjoining Paceville, which is the place for the young at heart.
