My husband and I and two friends have just returned from one of your holidays in Malta we stayed at the Hotel Fortina in Sliema, and was an excellent trip all round.

We were very happy there. We were there from the 18th March for 10 days. All the staff was lovely, friendly and helpful.

We flew with easy jet and we were all pleasantly surprised with the leg room on the flight and were generally impressed all round. The staff was first class and would fly with them again.

Our holiday turned out to be everything and more than we expected. We were the first Mercury clients at the hotel and we were greeted by the hotel manager and many staff members. They had even made a welcome banner with our names on!

Throughout our holiday everyone was very attentive and the setting and facilities were all first class. They even had a resident naturalist to point out the various brid and reptile species.

The hotel manager came round and spoke to all the residents at meal times and no request was too much trouble for any staff member.

Well done Mercury we will certainly book again next year.

Having returned home from the above holiday, we feel that we must write and inform your company that this is one of the best holidays that we have ever had. From the time of booking the holiday right up to returning home everything was 100%.

We were met at the airport by a young man called Alex from Marintur Tours who was our tour guide for the four day extra tour of the island. This young man was a credit to your company he was os poite, knowledgeable and courteous, he made this tour an experience of a lifetime. We did while at the resort book a further two trips and his company sent him along as the guide. He also gave up his Sunday evening with his family to take us back to the airport on our departure.

The hotel Sanur Beach Resort Hotel where we stayed was also first class in every way, it could not be faulted by anyone. The satff the management and right down to the pool boys were wonderful. This thanks to your company was the greatest holiday we could have ever wished for.

Once again Mercury we thank you for this experience of a lifetime and look forward to travelling with your company again in the near future.

Just to let you know that we had a really lovely time on our recent visit to the Palms (Sri Lanka). The food was really good, even laying on a choice of set meals instead of a buffet when the hotel had few guests for lunch. The staff where really helpfull too. Sri Lanka is a great place with loads of exciting trips and wonderful people. A safari to Yala park was something different to the usual temples and elephant trips. We had a great flight with Emerates and on the outward flight we even flew on the new Airbus 380 ! Well done Mercury.

Just to say we have just returned from 3 weeks at "On The Beach" apartments, Trinity Bay, Australia, this holiday WAS even better than the 1st time we stayed there, 3 years ago. Melissa Speer, the manageress keeps the property in even better condition, the pool and BBQ areas were immaculate, beautiful gardens & lovely light airy apartments.

It's the best location in the area, directly opposite the 'safe swimming area' for this time of year. Melissa doesn't just help book trips and care hire, she confirms the return flight home & books your actual seats right through - fantastic service!

We'll look forward to returning again.

Also Cathay Pacific was great. Their new economy seats that recline from within are a fabulous idea, no back of seat in your face! They go to great efforts to make the flights on time, seats comfortable & some of the best airline food we have ever had.

So, thank you Mercury for a fabulous holiday!

I must thank you and all the staff who were involved for allowing me to have such an enjoyable holiday, your service could not be faulted.

The Airline, Qatar, was very good and the in flight service could not have been better.

The transfer from the airport to the hotel was good other than one couple who were supposed to be on the same transfer went missing but alas, we still got there in good time.

On arrival at the Hotel, with the first look it seemed a bit run down but going to the room, it was well laid out and clean. On the first evening i found that the staff at both the bar and the dining area were as helpful as possible and where the hotel is fairly small compared with quite a few others, it did not take long to be chatted to or with other guests. As the days went past the cleanliness of the room and the hotel was kept up to a very high standard. Talking to the management, it appears that further improvements are going to continue as the money comes in, the re build of the swimming pool being the latest. The food was excellent and in the 18 nights of my stay, i cannot remember having the same meal twice and all of them were good. For me one bonus for the hotel was the fact that it is also used by the locals, week-end breaks, weddings and various other parties, also the conference room was used and by this the European guests to get to know some of the Sinhalese.

When i go on holiday, i prefer to do my own thing, hence had no real use of your representative other than his initial greeting on arrival at the hotel. I did find though that the costs of tours were somewhat pricey compared with what could have been found.

All in all it was agreat holiday and for the money value, i have had very few holidays to equal it. Just hope that the next adventure through you company, Paphos Cyprus in December will be nearly as good.
